radial 5.5′ transparency and radial animated 6′ artboard are available to purchase (you have to buy both and link them with a pin exactly in the center to watch the animation flow!) It also works on a clock if you manage to paste the transparent sticker to a plastic sheeting, cut it in a circle and paste it to the minute hand – you are warned it’s tricky to get it perfectly centered in the clock!) But it’s easy to set up in all other products with a pin.

Oh Yes, there are a few Light Reactive Posters similar to these on the internet but most get the colors wrong; they usually use blue, red and green for the animation to be apparent. I prefer to use cyan, magenta, and yellow, as it gives better visibility on each each single layer and occultation of the others.

As the room LEDs cycle through the primary colors of light (RGB), different painted layers appear and disappear, and the eye seems to blink.
Reactions by input color:
red light > cyan is black / yellow and magenta are white
green light > magenta is black / yellow and cyan are white
blue light > yellow is black / cyan and magenta are white
Light‑reactive art works because some pigments reflect certain colors of light more than others. When you change the color of the light, some parts of the image become brighter while others fade, so the picture’s visible details shift over time.
The artist arranges those layers so the alternation of light makes a simple motion — here, an opening and closing eye.
