Created from a pentagon containing a 60° angle and a 120° angle (isohedral type IH21 from the book Tilings and Patterns by Branko Grünbaum and Geoffrey Colin Shephard). This incredible original work was created in 2020 by Wikimedia contributor Basile Morin. Processing, coloring, and adaptation by Pablo Carlos Budassi.

✧ Light Reactive Art ✧
Light‑reactive works are presented here is made from layered pigments that reveal different details under red, green, and blue light, so when you run an adjustable RGB LED sequence—like the strips used in bedrooms—you can see subtle, repeatable shifts and simple motions as different layers brighten and fade.

Oh Yes, there are a few Light Reactive Posters similar to these on the internet but they all get the colors wrong; they usually use blue, red and green for the animation to be apparent. I prefer to use cyan, magenta, and yellow, as it gives me better visibility on each layer and occultation of the others.

Eye Opening Light Reactive Art

A flat composition in cyan, magenta, and yellow that changes when you shine red, green, and blue lights on it. As the room LEDs cycle through those colors, different painted layers appear and disappear, and the central eye seems to blink.
Light‑reactive art works because some pigments reflect certain colors of light more than others. When you change the color of the light, some parts of the image become brighter while others fade, so the picture’s visible details shift over time. The artist arranges those layers so the alternation of light makes a simple motion — here, an opening and closing eye.

Cube Corner Illusion Reverse Perspective
This set of three precision-engineered stickers aligns perfectly at the junction of your walls and ceiling, creating the convincing illusion of a window where a cube appears to hover. As the observer moves through the room, the cube’s perspective shifts like magic, maintaining the illusion of a consistent, solid shape.
The wonder of the installation lies in its kinetic interactivity. By harnessing the principle of reverse perspective, it engages your brain’s motion parallax cues to produce a convincing, hologram-like anomaly. It is a seamless fusion of mathematics and art, transforming a static corner into a living optical experiment.
* The left, right, and wall stickers are indicated.
* These stickers were inspired by Jeff Lieberman‘s work, “Cornered”
* As a bonus, we included two stereographic views of the universe and a smaller cube corner illusion.> Get the sticker set here <> Get a bigger (more effective) print <
